The water resistance of the welded reveal

Welded for 100% protection against water seepage

Water finds the smallest opening, creeps between seams and sometimes penetrates where it should not. Every element of the welded reveal has been thought through and optimised to ensure watertightness.

It starts with the visible seams of the day side. These are fully welded and finely sanded. This creates a tight and homogeneous surface and no chance of water infiltration. Even in driving rain or extreme weather conditions.

But it is not only the visible side that counts. The real technology for waterproofing happens where the eye does not immediately see it: on the invisible side. This is where the most crucial welds are located, ensuring the stability and watertightness of the reveal side.

The secret of the RDW reveals? The fully welded joint. At the sill, the protruding part under the window is welded shut to form a closed tub shape. Water gains no access whatsoever as a result. Even without a continuous sill, this is of course welded into a watertight whole.
